Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of LarkBeat (larkbeat.com), a tool for writing, scheduling, publishing and analyzing posts on X, Instagram and TikTok. By creating an account or using LarkBeat, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity that happens under your LarkBeat account.
- You must be at least 13, and old enough to use X, Instagram and TikTok where you live.
- Keep your Google account secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your LarkBeat account.
- Each LarkBeat account is for one person. Teams and shared accounts aren't supported yet.
Connecting X, Instagram and TikTok
When you connect an account, you authorize LarkBeat to publish the posts you create, schedule or queue for it, and to read your profile and the analytics for posts published through LarkBeat. LarkBeat only publishes content you have scheduled, queued or chosen to publish now. You can disconnect any account at any time in Settings.
- Instagram only lets apps publish to professional accounts (Business or Creator).
- Songs on Instagram and sounds on TikTok can only be added in their own apps. For those posts, LarkBeat notifies you at the scheduled time and hands the post over, and you finish publishing it yourself.
- Until TikTok approves LarkBeat, posting directly only works for private TikTok accounts. Posts for public accounts are sent to your TikTok inbox for you to finish.
Your use of each platform through LarkBeat is also governed by that platform's own terms and rules. LarkBeat isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp., Meta Platforms or TikTok.
Scheduling and publishing
Scheduled and queued posts are published from our servers, so they go out even when LarkBeat isn't open. If a post can't be published at its scheduled time, LarkBeat doesn't send it late. It's marked as failed so you can reschedule it or publish it now.
Scheduling depends on the X, Instagram and TikTok APIs, which can fail, be rate limited or change. We can't guarantee that every post goes out exactly on time.
Credits
- New accounts get 50 free credits.
- Publishing a post and generating AI drafts use credits. For example, an Instagram or TikTok post uses 1, an X post 2 to 25 depending on what's attached, and a batch of AI drafts 2. The full price list is in the app.
- Posts use credits when they're published, not when they're scheduled. If publishing fails, the credits come back.
- Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged. You can't buy credits yet. If we introduce paid plans or change prices, we'll tell you before anything is charged.
Your content
You own what you create in LarkBeat. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only as needed to run the service, for example to save your drafts, publish your posts and show your analytics.
You're responsible for what you publish, and for having the rights to any text, images, videos or music you use.
Uploaded photos and videos are deleted 7 days after the last post using them is published, so keep your own copies of anything you want to keep.
AI-generated drafts
The AI studio generates draft posts with Google Gemini. Drafts can be inaccurate or unoriginal, and they may contain placeholders for you to fill in. Review and edit every draft before publishing. You're responsible for anything you choose to post.
Acceptable use
Don't use LarkBeat to:
- break the law or the rules of X, Instagram or TikTok, including their rules on spam, platform manipulation and automation;
- post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful or that infringes someone else's rights;
- access accounts you're not authorized to manage;
- interfere with, overload or try to break the service or its security, or get around credit limits.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
Availability
LarkBeat is in preview, and features may change, be added or be removed. We work to keep the service running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance.
Ending your use
You can stop using LarkBeat and disconnect your X, Instagram and TikTok accounts at any time. To delete your account, contact the LarkBeat team. Unused credits end when your account is deleted. We may also end the service, or your access to it, with reasonable notice where we can give it.
Disclaimers and liability
LarkBeat is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost posts, data, reach or revenue arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as LarkBeat evolves. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and let you know in the app. Continuing to use LarkBeat after that means you accept the updated terms.
